Survey to determine how people in England find health information

The purpose of this survey is to identify how members of the general public find information to answer questions related to health and to measure familiarity with resources provided by the NHS. The results of this survey will be used as part of my PhD thesis to inform the development of a health information literacy framework. This will help people find good quality health information. Your responses will help me identify what is needed to develop this framework and I am grateful for your time and honesty.

The framework will be rolled out in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, via the Idea Stores, and if it proves useful to the community of Tower Hamlets, will be cascaded throughout England. If you would like more information, please contact me via this blog.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.

Please click here to access the survey.

Thank you again. With best wishes, from,

Caroline De Brún
